Text message policy

Last updated September 16, 2026

The Nur Lead Desk answers, by text, the calls a contractor could not pick up. This page explains who receives those texts, what they contain, and how to stop them. The desk is operated by Nur (A. Ben David Systems Architecture & Integration Consulting) on behalf of the contractors who use it.

Who receives a text, and why

You receive a text only if you called a contractor's business number and the call was not answered. The greeting you hear on that call tells you a text is on its way. The text comes from the same number you dialed, or from that contractor's dedicated desk number, and is sent in the contractor's name. We never text anyone who did not call first, and we never sell, rent or share your number.

What the messages say

The first text says sorry we missed you and asks what the call was about. If you answer, the conversation continues by text until the contractor calls you back or a visit is booked. If you do not answer, you may receive up to five short follow-ups over the following ten days, and then nothing more. A typical first message reads:

Hi, this is Ridgeview Roofing. Sorry we missed your call. Is this about a leak, a repair or an estimate? Reply here and we'll get back to you within the hour. Reply STOP to opt out.

How to stop

Reply STOPto any message and you will not hear from that contractor's desk again. Reply HELP for help, or write to info@nur-bot.com. Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply.

Trying the desk

Contractors who want to see the desk work can call our demonstration line, let it ring out, and watch their phone. By calling that line you agree to receive the demonstration text described above; reply STOP at any time.
